ANALISIS EPISTIMOLOGI OBSTACLES TERHADAP SISWA SMP KELAS VII DENGAN MATERI STATISTIKA (PENYAJIAN DATA)

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui sebuah hambatan epistimologi siswa sekolah menengah pertama pada materi statistika (penyajian data). Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga indikator, yaitu hambatan konseptual, hambatan prosedural, dan hambatan teknik operasional. Penelitian bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan wawancara. Pada penelitian ini subjek yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VII SMPIT AT-TAUFIQ sebanyak 30 siswa yang telah mempelajari materi Statistika. Penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis yang mengidentifikasi hasil jawaban siswa. Ditemukan 6 siswa mengalami hambatan epistimologi yang serupa, sehingga bisa dijadikan sebagai dasar bagi guru untuk memperbaiki.
