Focus and Scope

Jurnal Matematika UNAND (JMUA) is dedicated to the dissemination of original research and advances in the field of mathematics. The journal welcomes submissions in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, and focuses on publishing high-quality research papers, technical papers, and case studies that contribute to the advancement of mathematical sciences.

 

JMUA covers a broad range of mathematical topics, including but not limited to:

Geometry and Analysis: Research in differential geometry, complex analysis, and other aspects of geometrical and analytical theory.

Algebra: Papers on group theory, ring theory, field theory, and other areas of abstract and linear algebra.

Applied Mathematics: Studies that apply mathematical methods to solve problems in science, engineering, economics, and other applied fields.

Combinatorics: Research in graph theory, discrete mathematics, and combinatorial designs.

Statistics: Theoretical and applied research in statistical methodology, probability distributions, and data analysis.

Probability Theory: Research on stochastic processes, random variables, and their applications.

Data Science: Contributions to mathematical modeling, data analytics, machine learning, and big data applications.

 

JMUA encourages submissions that address theoretical developments as well as innovative applications of mathematical methods. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners to share significant findings in the mathematical sciences.
